Pretty easy to that, Similar to the game crashing bug, The technique is anyways :p

I think Warr made a video about this a while ago.. might of been warr, Dunno.
You trick the game to use stats of another weapon, But you get to choose what stats the weapon exchanges, I have never tried it but my mate has, He showed me in private match :p

There's a video on YouTube where a guy uses Needle Blaster mk 1 at range 1, I can't remember the name of the video...

In pretty sure this is a bug that happens when the connection from computer to server lags when calculating the current range of the player. That seems to be the most logic possibility

If you ever have it happen to you live (not in a replay, but while playing) please feel free to post it here (SM bug reports).

It happened while playing, but because i cant screenshot them(have bad reflexes doe).
