I had this happen once with an explosive resistance kit on mobile (iOS).

Visual bug that occurs when you mess up equipping an item onto your mech. I think it happens because you release the click of the item onto the section exactly between two item slots. The game panics, and prevents a glitch by making sure the item doesn't go in the wrong slot.

During this process, the item sticks to your cursor, and stays there until you refresh the page or reload the app.

it's a neat trick.
