dont know if anyone experience this with me.
i cant play bd with anybrowser from linux environment altough with flash 10 :(. i did manage to enter my password, but most of the text is writen in black while the flash background is in dark :(. after manage to login and reloading, the flash game is kinda crappy. the images of the control panel on left top is missing :( and the mouse coordinate when clicking the button panel on the right side is too long from where it supposed to. dont know where the bug come from, either from adobe flash or from the game it self :(. until it fixed, i forced to play from the virtual box and installed windows again :(. it did do the trick, but cost me more time and effort to do it.
hopefully it will be fixed before i lost the interest toward this game....hopefully not.
i'll try to post a pic later.

This is an extremely bizarre issue that users with a similar setup have encountered. I'm not sure exactly what is causing the issue with it to be honest, I'll add this to our list to fix though it has been on our agenda but I'll note it officially as a bug.

I have programmed a few games, and to my understanding this is a problem of flash of linux (which is very bad).

If you can try playing BD or other flash games with another operating system...

hope it will get fixed too.
i'm suspect that it comes from adobe flash for linux, until they noticed this issue, it might not be fixed at all.

about trying another operating system...i tought u ask me back to microsoft again? which i will not ;) i'll stick with this for now, untill i get tired of waiting :(

tested on fedora with player version 9.0.124 - played ok
tested on fedora with player version 10 - broken as described

Sorry, this appears to be an adobe issue :( There's not much we can do about the player itself. You could try to get the 9.0.124 version and see how it works for you till adobe puts effort into their linux player.

Thanks for looking into it Julius!

For those who don't know Julius is one of our programmers who handles a lot of backend systems and is the one responsible for coding the chat. To see him posting on the forums is something I don't recall ever seeing... take a screenshot guys .

Julius' solution for me worked.

For ubuntu users, I simply went to Applications - Ubuntu Software Center - Installed Software then click on the flash player and removed it. I then downloaded http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flas ... r_9.tar.gz and placed the libflashplayer.so file that is extracted in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Still a little glitchy, but works.

Hope that helped.

PS: Im running chrome, but this will work for mozilla as well.

up till last week i was running linux ubuntu hardy.

I never had a problem with it.

But you could always install windows, and run ubuntu inside windows as a program, which is still pretty awesome. Its what i'm doing now.

TO do so, you put in the CD, and theres an option to run as program.
so your running both systems. or you could always dualboot.

Thx so much!!!!

redworm's walkthrough makes is really easy!

I had some workarounds by using tab keys and switching forth and back from full mode to make it work at all but this is much better :D

So many other flash applications are now working too lol

PS:
Suddenly sound wasnt working in flash applications

it can be solved by this link:
http://blog.bf-itservice.de/wp-content/ ... 2_i386.deb

and open it with gdebi manager

EDIT:
The prelrelease of adobe flash 10.1 is also working smooth with BD
