Hope you don't like shooter games! It seems in all the knee-jerk reaction syndrome going around, not even virtual guns are out of bounds!

i think everyone is overreacting to this shooting way too much, just another day in america, he mightve killed kids but i dont see how thats bigger then killing adults, i find people care more just because they were kids

Seems to me like people are looking for something to blame, as always.

Yes, a 20 year old went on a shooting spree. He played Call of Duty. These two things are obviously connected, much like how Polio and Ice cream are connected.

I'm not sure why this is the first conclusion the media tries to jump to when something like this happens. I've played violent video games, I have yet to get the urge to shoot up a school building, or anywhere for that matter.

There are, however, people out there that have trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality. Could violent video games affect them? Without a doubt, but I feel this falls more on the need for better care for those who are mentally ill, rather than the need to ban violent games/movies.

Uh. That's all I have to say on the matter :?

that's the same as bullying the weak, and seeing that betraying a friend is nothing but a game, and that war is awesome, just becuz they played BD.

Now I understand Hitlers lust for power. BD did it o.O It all makes sense, I didn't jump to any quick conclusions.

If not BD, I'm sure RISK was around at the time, why not blame that

I agree with you on that if something bad like that happens everyone start looking for reasons to blame

Nope. It increases aggression according to studies but there is no causal link demonstrated between shooting people and shooting in a game.

Standard fluff. That said, the rating system should be overhauled slightly. I dont understand why a boob is 18+ but beating a near naked but boob not shown woman to repeatedly is only 15+. It might be due to USA's problem with sexuality and the very large parent associated lobby.
