hmm I got job of "Reporting interesting era of fantacy" for Tribune from Community Manager and our admin Seth..... so I'm working on this

only thing, that I want to discuss here is, "4000+ ticks Protection" of Reporting person colony

well, it doesn't matter at all, that you are in protection or Conquired ... but if not under protection, so you can still ONLY watch being Conquired,

2nd Option is PLAY, I don't think I can play while doing reporting cz People will not share any info with me....

so If NOT underprotection, bassically it do not mean anything, BUT people will still not Believe you and will not share any important info cz they will see you conquired and will consider that non-official man, who wanna steal info....


so, i asked our beloved admin Simmen, on skype and ingame that, put some extra Protection, But got no reply, I THINK I DESERVED A REPLY

as I said, bassically its not a big issue, but, its Better to display BD Tribune Reporter, Official

I can see that being under protection will make it a lot easier to get info from people. You should also have a name like 'Tribune Reporter'.

having reporting several eras, I have to say, having unlimited protection will not interfere much with the reporting. The only differences between being conquered and unconquered, is that u can't conquer other people (of course that will go together with u can't have extra power and tax income from conquers), and that you can't gate in ur colony.

However, both of those is not needed while watching the era, you can always ask people around for the info, message system works at 100% whether u're conquered, unconquered or still in protection, and you can sat scan perfectly too.

I've reported M3 era 35 and 36, both of which is not officially reported and I just did it for fun, and of course, no protection. I even broke protection early. And I don't see any difficulties in reporting said eras.

the only reason why the reporters of CE and schoolyard event are given unlimited protection because we don't want to interfere much with the era. However, I don't see anything that make it harder to report if you're not protected.

If any, it will only bring the admins, and you too, a lot of headache from messages from those who don't know, and thus say that u're hacking the game. I got about 100 messages like that during CE, and I think the admins had it worse. And I doubt you'd want the same situation at all.

and as i said, It doesn't matter, if you are conquired or what, but its good to give players an Official View, specially to whom, who don't know me personally...
