After much thought we've decided to allow all old Earth 1 supporters to transfer their bonuses to the new Earth 1. Due to the new system having a different supporting system though it will not be a direct transfer, instead there will be bonus resources given based on the total amount of purchases in the old earth 1. This will be done on an individual basis so any supporters from the old Earth 1 who wish to switch must message me in order to have this done. Please message me in the old Earth 1 from the account that you wish to move to the new Earth 1. I will take care of deleting your old account once you are ready for the move. This is not undo-able though so think carefully before choosing to switch to the new client as you cannot get your bonuses transferred back! If you have already deleted your old account on old Earth 1 to join new Earth 1 and you had purchased a package in that world you can still get the bonuses transferred, contact me with the method you used to purchase the package and any confirmations you received so that I can track the purchases and apply your bonus. For any other questions please PM me on either the new or old forums(My forum name is "Andrew" in both) or in-game via the old or new Earth 1 admin colony. Thanks for your patience in the matter and good luck on whatever world you choose to play!

-Andrew

i am still confused about this...

so do we get resources, or tokens?

and if tokens then,
we are getting a price equivelant package if we switch over, correct?

so a platinum package in old is about a bronze package in new?

From what I understand, Andrew is awarding resources to your new colony equivalent to what you purchased for the new round on E1.

In a chat earlier, here is the table he gave me:

$0-10 3000 metal/oil and 25 workers
$10-20 4500 metal/oil and 50 workers
$20-30 6000 metal/oil and 75 workers
$30-40 7500 metal/oil and workers
$40-50 9000 metal/oil and workers
$50+ 9000 metal/oil and 100 workers now, 7500 metal/oil and 50 workers in 1 week

It is an optional change, and is only for the ones who joined old E1 for the new era. If you agree to this transfer, then your account on old E1 will be banned before the transfer takes place. If you wish to transfer simply contact the new E1 admin (Andrew) in-game, and BE PATIENT. It may take some time to process your request.

Once again thank you for your patience and understanding.

Wow. um.. I dont know what to say. To tell you the truth seth.. I understand the range of it. but.. I am disappointed to some degree. I mean.. that 50 dollars and beyond I mean people are getting gipped from it. In my opinion and dont take it the wrong way.. that.. the compensation doesnt even seem fair. I mean.. people couldve spent hundreds of dollars or something like (just speaking hypothetically) and only thing they get is what? 16k resources and 170-200 workers. I know your guy's ruling is final. But the big spenders are not getting compensation. You would think that they would get more than anticipated. and I thought it would be a case by case thing. I was misinformed then.

I know I spent hundreds on E1. and I know it was over 200 bucks but.. This seems hardly fair compensation.

Please look at it from a players perspective and see if you would be outraged/disappointed.

Considering the "Cooldown" system on the current donations, it would be unfair to give you a large amount.

Also, resources and workers in this client is worth so, so much more. Still, you're right, it won't be near $200+ donations. But it's the offer. It's not forced, you can leave it if you like :)

I'm a bit confused.

Seth says that Andrew will be adding resources in the new client 'equivalent' to those purchased in E1.

But a Platinum package on the old system cost $19.50 and gave more resources than the table shown is proposing for a $50+ subscription.

Please explain clearly how this could be deemed to be 'equivalent'.

Its a fact that fair compensation is not going to be given. I am sorry.. You want people to play on new e1 and transfer over atleast give them something more worthwhile for playing.

Heck I heard tokens were suggested. I heard straight resource boost. Atleast give us more resources over time instead 2 freaking times.

Steven I give you credit for seeing it from a player perspective. I applaud you.

Seth I know thats what it is.. but gotta give a little more for the people. People honestly thought that they were gonna get better compensation for their e1 donations. The top 2 alliances on old e1 probably spent close to a $1000 bucks. And then thinking of transferring over here they get this. It will drive them away.

Even for the fact.. How do you know we even will get the second week stuff for the $50+ people. I love this game.. I love what everyone is trying to do. I love Andrew :)

All I am asking is just rethink this. Yea so the resources are worth more on the new client. Maybe split them with resource boost and tokens?

Rethink this.

My guess would be the administration thought this over completely.

However, I do think that tokens would be a better idea, instead of resources.

I love the tokens system, I think it would be better seeing the fact that people need to "relearn" battledawn.

No point in wasting the given resources on their first age ;)

jasper you think everything they do is thought over.. but you dont know the exact problem of what we have to go thru on e1.. we are trying to justify our position. I am not the only one who feels this.. I am counting over 12+ people and even more who feel that they got screwed over. we just want our stuff justified.. and we feel we are not getting it the right way.

I was talking to Andrew about this. Mine and his first response was "Give 'em tokens. They can learn the new donation system!"

Unfortunately, we can't do that because of the way that the token system works... We're working on a solution to similar things. But unfortunately, this offer really is a "Take it or Leave it" thing. It's up to you... I do understand it may not be equivalent (But in reality, it's not a *bad* exchange. Especially as resources are produced in lower rates at the start of the game- the workers are VERY good...)

If you've donated $200+ you may feel cheated if you do this. My suggestion: don't. It is your decision. :)

Good luck, whatever you choose!
