doesn't really matter milan, even if it's 2 different teams, they can still log on to each other's account, which is the main problem for this. If they hadn't, we wouldn't have minded the whole family being in one alliance.
unless we have access to the webcam (which is easy for flash, but is a severe case of privacy invasion), or other stupid limitations (like u can only be online for 16 hours a day, which is, again, stupid) we can't really solve this problem, no matter wat rules or solutions we think of.
It does matter. If it's in one team you have a double army. Let's say they both have 50 squads, if you are facing both of them that's a 100 squad army with potentially perfect coordination you are facing. If they are in different teams then at least they can't actually attack together all the time.

Me and my brother play in the same house, with different computers, but the same IP address. We have played on the same team. We don't let each other know our account passwords. I think what you are saying is a little unfair because anyone can log into anyone's account if they give you the password.
Again no one is saying that those that have several people on one IP are cheating per se. The point is that it would be impossible for us to know. Imagine it's you logging into your brother's account, there would be no way to see. Saying that it's not that bad because anyone can log into anyone's account is beyond the point since that CAN be seen as it would be logging in from a different IP then. The whole point is that it is impossible for admins to know who is logging in when you are both playing on the same IP.

Or I can just ask my brother to move his units... Same thing...
You do understand that is 100% not the same thing right? For that your brother would have to do it himself, whereas if he isn't home and you are then you can do it for him.

HMMMM... stop using Skype, phones, whatsapp, ect... not hard to wake anyone up, anytime
if you are not allowed to contact a partner IRL, than you ruin the game completely lol... considering people in the same house almost always sleep at the same time, i consider it an advantage to know their schedule, and habbits so quickly/easily, without variables ^^
Only exception is IP sharing cheats who live in different timezones, and abuse the same IP :\
You too are talking completely around the point Mot.. Contacting people to get them online is normal and allowed. I'm not even sure what it has to do with this. It relies on the person you are contacting actually getting online to move their units or do a spy trap or whatever you need them for.

Maybe if Admins would remove the IP blocks, than people in the same house would not be forced to play with each other... they already can not touch each others OPs, they can not do spy attacks, they can not even send resources in the same team, or interact at all really, it is rediculous.....
There is no way you can enjoy the game with a real life person, thanks to the IP nonsense, unless you play on the same team, it is such a disadvantage that no one will even consider talking about, no way to even have Friendly Competition anymore
I would think the players that have countless limitations should be the upset ones lmao, especially the inability of sending resources, probably the most important factor for being on the same team?
I can agree with you on that actually, though I also understand the reasoning between not wanting to let them be able to farm each other. But I would rather see that than having 2 in the same team.
What this problem boils down to is that when someone cheats, they are innocent until proven guilty. In the case of a shared IP if you cheat by letting the other access your account, no one will ever know so there is never any proof. Allowing people to cheat and get away with it is in my opinion something we should be stopping, and that's why I agree with Mirage on this.
