we all know that racism is wrong, prejudice is bad, bigotry should be condoned.

but to fight such a negative thing i think we need to show what the extremes do.

that story is depressing. the fact that the police shot the wrong guy is even more sad.

in the wake of the 911 attacks and various other extremist islamic forces there has been wide spread islamiphobia

a different case was when obama was running
the KKK wanted him to win so they could "openly wage" a race war.

there was also that episode of 2 rednecks that planned to kill over 100 children at a predominately african american school then try and kamikaze into obama's motorcade.

try to keep the extremes of racism in somewhat recent news as i hope everyone is aware of the holocaust and at a lesser extent the kurd killing, the native killing, the aztec killing, the chinese killing.

this isnt a very optimistic thread but the stories should be told.

it makes me sick to think ten thousand years of cultural evolution and we still cant embrace the fact that we are all humans and we all deserve the same rights and privileges as each other and many times the the reasons for actions like this are things the victim were born with

i truly fear for the future of humanity or if worse comes to worse than the lack of one

Wow that's just sad...why do people hate others for their race? I'm an American Christian and a good friend of mine is a Turkish Islam, we get along great!

My school has become very racist, if someone from the mid east were to come to my school, im not sure what would happen but it wouldnt be good

a couple hundred years of segregation, racial violence and tense racial issues didnt really help either...
