how long can you play till you get attack

That is really an unanswerable question, at the very least you will be safe for 100 ticks because of protection (although I'd recommend you drop it right away) but you could go days without being noticed or you could be attacked the tick your protection drops.

You can attack once your resource structures are all level 3. I believe this was the true intent of this question Korupt

look around and get to know about the surrounding

you cant send blues, as for reds there is a slider in the send resources screen(if im wrong correct me).

I would recommend you to fill an application in the the Adopt A Newb Center thread. A veteran player will help you pass the learning curve and teach you the basics of the game.
