The badge depends on your level, and thus, when you level up (from collecting enough XP from battling other mechs) your badge will change as well.

You're doing the same thing agonasani! This is Supermechs, not BattleDawn

The symbols are similar at first, but then it goes from 1 to 5 bronze stars, 1 to 5 silver, 1 to 5 gold, silver swords with 1-3 various colour stars... in all, there's over 100 different symbols, the highest ones I've seen are skulls.

Lol, and fake is right, there are many badges that indicate your level or your level bracket if your level gets high enough.
