Is anyone else concerned about ACTA? From what I have heard its even worse than SOPA and PIPA...

I havent really seen it, so i dont know much about it, people could be exaggerating. Links?

what's ACTA?

Much of the problem is that people seems to not have noticed ACTA before it was to late. Many lands have signed up to ACTA (Including EU and America). Its a law that gives the media industry greater tools. If you have an illegal file, no matter if you got it from a friend or downloaded it from a place you thought were legit but that wasn't, they can now procecute you for stealing their "inteligent work". It open up the laws for more raids, for lower privacy and in all leave you with less rights.

This bull crap why are there more laws being used?

I don't know how the law could go trough. Its insane. The task of monitoring the packages is close to impossible because of the huge amount of them.

None of this matters. So what, you get caught at an airport or at the border and they check your Iphone/phone/ipod for illegally downloaded things. The real problem is NDAA. Copyright laws are nothing compared to indefinite detentions.

Its all a little piece of the puzzle, the gov's and top tier are putting them together so they can legally control our every move...

I thought at school on Friday while the bell rang I got up and moved to my next class and just thought "Wow, I am a zombie" The bell tells me what to do, and where to go... its law that I go to school, and they schedule my life for me.
