We chose only one chassis so all the enemy's weapons aren't fully effective on us. But does this nullify the boons of having mixed chassis?

You gain bonus on fighters vs frigates and frigates vs cruisers. You confuse the enemy and spy attacks are more difficult. The admin also has mixed chassis in the relics- so do you think maybe we should do the same?

*BTW what advantage do Cruisers have against fighters? Why?*

first, the only problem and big also , when you build mix is, you need to provide too much armour with your units as, if you have 3 chases you will recruite armour of all types, so it will decrease number of range units you can make, also, when enemy at 1 chases, with all tupe of range hit you, he will kill you all type of armour in first round with 100% Damage, and you hit him at 25~100% range...

2nd, no chases get advantage, its about HP, as for fighters, fighters show 25% less HP against Cruisers and other like this, its like

normally fighter have 8 HP (at no xp)

when you fight against Cruisers, you have it 6 (25% of 8 is 2m so 8-2=6)

Ok. I don't understand how I won't be able to make enough ranged units.

you'll have to make so much armor to protect all the different units your overhead will be sky high, therefore range units will be extremely expensive.

With mixed chassis you will either take 100% damage from your enemy all the time or you will only send one type of chassis into battle which means you will have a smaller effective army since you can no longer send all of your troops. In short, never build mixed chassis.
