Ram's Horn
Concept: This feature would be a "last resort" mechanism for defending you colony when your out of resources and you have units spread out across the world. Ideally, I think this should be a feature you could build up to. Like the Shield or Ion Cannon. I think there are 3 totally different ways this could be implemented. They are as follows:
1. Put some sort of tick radius limitation on the feature. So that when you use the feature it only calls units within a admin set distance.This would allow a skilled player more freedom within a certain distance, while maintaining the ability to defend his colony.
2. Make it call all units back individually. Also, each unit would just return at the normal pace. basically, this feature would just be a convenience to a gamer instead of having to do it all manually. This my least favorite option.
3. This option is setup to when activated units return via instant movement, but i think this return could take as much as 2 ticks. I think it would be worth looking at when the user activates the "Rams Horn", the Orders Tab could be opened. At this point the user could then decide what units to bring back.
I think after you have worked to build the structure required for this feature to be accessible. The cost should be no more than required when using the other high level structures.

You're free to discuss it but I highly doubt it will be brought into the game; there are too many problems with the current system to add more complications to it.

First of all you dont need this feature. The reason is because if you are attacked and you have zero resources and units spread out, its your team gates responsibility to defend you. Its their responsibility regardless of where your units are or whether or not you are out of resources. This is a team game. Team work suggests that you defend not only alliance mates colonies but also the alliances assets. So no, you dont need to call back YOUR units. Secondly, always keep units gatable. So you can jump immediately even if your units are spread out. Third dont go all in for an attack. Always keep some for defence.
