My men,

I encompass the spirit of Spam, nothing more than the united voice of a people. And I have come today, as called upon, to perform my rightful duty—to guide the community we love.

Today, our kingdom is prosperous, but not as it should be. We foster together a culture found nowhere else, and for that we should be proud. We have uncovered the wisdom in randomness, and built a temple of friendship.

And yet, people leave. And yet, people give up, people post garbage, and people let our skyscraper of dreams crumble into dust, blown away by the wind. And yet, some people walk the lonely road to which there is no end, with the blackness caving in and the slithering wind of betrayal entwining their ankles. Their backs turn towards the brokenhearted people, and they take away an irreplaceable corner of an once-great empire.

But you are here today. You are here today because you believe in the spirit of spam, in the wonders that we can bring. The warmth that spreads from your fingertips to your toes from great posts, the acceptance, friendship and love that we create—you believe in this. And for that, I thank you.

Let us drink together the sweet juices from the palatable fruits of the autumn harvest. The last leaf has fallen, yet the rain continues. It is the rain of cleansing purity, the rain we shall raise our heads to. It is the rain that will drench the chains of mediocrity, and they will shatter with awe and we will be free.

Unto the grey clouds that laze cruelly across what is our rightful sky, we shall strike with the sword forged from the sweat and spirit of a people united. And upon the hill of dancing grass and cinnamon breeze, we shall stand, wearing the embrace of spring’s first sunshine.

The feasts of the mightiest are for the people. What use are the people if not to teach God its lessons? And thus, together we spam.

We shall move forward, into the black clouds. We shall walk, calmly, through the deathly mountains and looming rocks. Drenched in unforgiving snow and stained with unloving grime, we shall move forwards to what is rightfully ours. For through the ice and burning cold is a plain of swaying flowers and warming water. And on this plain, we shall prosper.

Believe in spam, what spam can do, what spam can be.
