He got a crystal after i conquered him... do i have to attack him again to get it?

yes, and you dont even have to be the conquerer, if theres ANYONE with a crystal you may attack and get there crystal

Yep, you just have to win a battle inside their colony and the crystal will automaticly become yours again :)
