Why can't I log in BD at different places via my laptop? (primarily I log in BD via desktop) like I'm trying to log in BD at a nearby wireless station and I couldn't log in at all, but I could go in as a 'New Player'.

It could be a connectivity issue. Tried running a traceroute to see if pinging the server at battledawn.com shows dropped packets?

I'll try later but I don't think it is.
I could go into the worlds being a New Player, but not when I log in.
After pressing 'login', a few seconds later the 'login' button lights up again, I don't get into the server selection at all.

I did everything I could, just couldn't log in, could only go in as a 'New Player'.

So, let me get this straight. You can log on fine from one location, but cannot from another?

Exactly, I don't even get to see any loading screen, just login screen.
I could go in as a 'New Player', randomly plant a colony, though never tried registering in case I'm identified as a multi (again) or something.

Right. Well, the fact that you are able to log in from one of these locations without any incident points to it being a local issue. I cannot sit down and inspect the PC that is giving you the problem, so my ability to provide any real customer service on that PC is not great.
This is not a typical problem, and being localized to a single machine makes it hard to point out. To my knowledge you are the only one experiencing this issue at this time, or I might be able to gain more knowledge or input from others regarding this issue. Unfortunately, I cannot.
Ill have a dev look at your colony on E4, but as I said, if you are able to log into these colonies fine from home, and work PC is not allowing it, then its more likely to be an issue with the work PC and not a bug that we can fix.
