Its tick 139 on mars 4.
Yesterday, I massed my alliance to launch the attack to first relic 144 to hit it 147.

I messaged my sub members to launch the nukes with delay. They did ...

At tick 136 Andrew took the relics away !!


Can someone tell me, how to play a strategic game when the admins are able to change the game without giving us any notice ?!

I don't care if he release all relics at tick 1 or at tick 500.
But removing a relic when its under attack is ... :shock:

The nukes are heading to a relic camp now

Yup, either relics have to be released at tick 1, or at a later stage, when the admin feels its appropriate. Now resources have been wasted, launching nukes etc. Things shouldn't be changed in the middle of a game, unless its a fix for a bug that poses a problem.

That's the second time in a few months that an admin changes the rules in the middle of a game.. :roll:

First the admin changes the length on E1 in the middle of the game (shorter era).. Afterwards when some alliances changed tactics for that reason, he change it back to 3K..

And now he releases the relics at the start of the era and when 1 relic is under attack, they just take em all back.. :evil:

I am sure Andrew had his reasons, and if you keep from getting your panties in a bunch and simply express your dismay in-game and account for how many nukes you sent, I am sure he will compensate your losses if it was due to a bug or something.

Don't get me wrong. It's not about creating a "lynch mob". My point is that a game of strategy also requires strategy.
And also you can hardly deny that this changes the strategy which is needed a lot !

If the admin can play "god" and release relics and take them back when they are under attack then this is not any more a strategic game.

Its just gambling then. Roll the dices ...

Just people who get fed up with sudden changes in the game rules..
Rules that were made to make a game interesting.. Rules that were made to adapt your strategy..

You can either release the relics at the start or during game play, but don't release them and than recall em all +/-150 ticks later..

And if there is an explanation for this we do have a right to know.. :shock:

The relics were not supposed to be released at tick 1, it was a mistake that they were in from the beginning. If any resources were wasted attacking the relics send me a message in M4 and I'll compensate for any losses.

Relics should be released around tick 500, their standard time which they will be on M4.

Sorry for the confusion!
