Iv noticed that when some one gets banned for having a multie or account sharing they get banned for a few days then come back. If this is the case then im going to lose respect for Battle Dawn. The game should be fair to us all that DON'T CHEAT that has been playing the game for ever!!

In M4 iv noticed some guys in WIND and SYN that got banned for a few days for having multies and account sharing. I want to know why they are free from there banns? This rule should be like it used to be. Get banned and your banned for the whole era. Or the whole game for so long. There bases SHOULD be deleted after the admins see that what they did WAS TRULY WRONG!! If not then they can be unbanned.

So why are they being unbanned after being caught as a multie/account sharing?

If it only takes a few days then shoot why not all of us do it? See my point?

You know, this is yet another case of not being able to please everyone. Ban too long, and there are those who will complain that we are too harsh. If you don't perm-ban every single person you ban, you are playing favorites and not being harsh enough. :roll:

The fact is that each case is different, and each decision has its own reasoning. There are things that you cannot see that the admins can, or it may be that the offense was not that harsh.

Personally, I hate cheating, but at the same time have to be understanding to the fact that so many people just pass over the rules. Especially younger players.

In this respect, I tend to look at 2 major factors with multiple accounts.

account history - If there are prior warnings or bans for the same offense, then most definitely going to issue a perm-ban.
damage done to fair players - If enough damage was done that it has somehow disrupted the round for one or especially for several players, prior offenses or not, perm-banned.

If those criteria are not met, then usually, I will ban and wait until I can exchange a few messages with the player so I make sure I got my point across before unbanning and sending them on their way. (only one account of course)

I personally have practiced this for several years, and after talking to the other admins all that time, Im pretty sure they practice similar tactics.

Regardless, It is up to the admin what the final ruling is. Like it or not, you just have to respect their decision.

Ok makes sense now. I still wish it was the whole round that they get banned but you can make us all happy lol. So ill respect this. it would be nice to know witch one of you admins are the hardest on banning lol. But thanks for the info.

I would say I am the the most heavy handed with multis. Even when giving a second chance, I am really really big on honesty. Being honest with me reassures me that the player understands what they did and wont do it again.
If one insists on telling me tall tales and the evidence points clearly to their guilt, I might even begin to ignore that person should they continue to lie to me.

imho, Honesty is always the best policy. Anything less is disrespectful.

What of players that multi and/or farm that get permanently banned change IP and simply play again with a new account? Yeah, I understand hard to prove but it's easily done and abused by a few players that continuously cheat.

if i remember right you can trace it back to the computers ip number, witch cant be changed

For all of thoughs out there that uses multies i will hunt you down lol. I love hunting down multies lol. For the ones that know me i know you all dont think im sitting here talking all day long while playing lol. I hunt for multies every day. Some times im right and some times im wrong. But it never hurts to hunt you down lol. I <3 tokens!!

The only problem with the whole multiple ip thing is that what if there are two people wanting to play on the same internet access. I was banned for multiple ips but it is really just me and my brother playing on two computers next to each other, which made me pretty angry but i can understand where the admins are coming from.
