I just lost to someone who corner stomped me with legs that do 71 heat damage. How is this possible? Does the damage bonus apply to heat as well?!

He might have stomped you twice...There is no leg that does 71 heat damage in 1 turn

I know that's why I was like WHAT.
I have 75 cooling on that mech and he had flame boots and that triple red drone. So that's what, 54+54+22 heat? If I do my math right that's 130 right. I was overheated 3 turns in a row.

if he was on a +30% heat buff then yes it applies to heat damage.

30% of 54 = 16.2

16.2 + 54 = 70.2

so yes, he was probably on a buff. it is important for you to learn the difference between heat damage buffs and explosive damage buffs.
