Should drugs be legalized in the states?

Dr. Ron Paul made a point a while back saying "If drugs were legalized, how many of you would do it just because it was legal?" Which I think sums it up, but should we legalize drugs; or should we keep them illegal and let the government tell us whats best for our body?

Also this topic is not restricted to the legalize Marijuana debate all though I would like that to be included.

Don't mention Ron Paul Jake... he's not going to win. I want him to win, but he's not going to.

Drugs should be legalized. Simple as that. Especially marijuana. Didn't they say life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Free will is a real thing, let your people do what they want.

Mhm, and it doesn't matter if he doesn't win the republican nomination (okay it matters a lot) but he has a TON of democrat followers too.

If he runs as third party he has a shot, and the primaries are not over yet I mean look at Newt Gingrich we though he was gone forever a week or two ago, but his victory in SC gave him momentum. Ron Paul just needs to revive his momentum.

Well it kinda depends. Prescription pills? No... just no... look at Michael Jackson. There ought to be some regulations or something on those... I don't know.

Well, pot was illegal in the 70's, and every kid still smoked it.
