You may not create and manage more than one Colony in a single Battle Dawn world, even with multiple User Accounts. You may not allow 3rd parties to generate Colonies on Your behalf or for Your benefit. Tacticsoft may notify Users should it consider You to be in violation of this clause either by attaching an icon to Your Colony or any other means.

Abusing spam colonies like this is against the ToS. If you convince someone who's already playing to assist you that's a different story but to have someone make a colony to instantly get troops to an area you otherwise wouldn't be able to is cheating. Had no one placed a colony here(3 times mind you this was done...) you wouldn't have had the means to take the outpost and deny ARM/ARMT their ability to relocate. You had to go outside the mechanics of the round to achieve this. Not only was it a ridiculously lame tactic to achieve victory IMO but it broke the ToS.

This kind of spam colony problem is going to be addressed hopefully in the next update, Michael programmed it today. After a certain tick there will be a "warm-up" period for colonies where they cannot make any attacks so that colonies joining into the game later must wait 36-48 ticks before attacks can be made.

It's too bad that the end of the round has to be accomplished by such dirty actions :(.

Any thoughts on that guys?

Thats a ridiculous rule. You can interpret anyones actions as being "spam colonies". Spamming is playing. Period. IF you wanna contain it bring in ingame mechanics to counter it.

Agreed. This seems like a bad update.

I don't really like this. This will take away the spamming that ppl do while the ticks are frozen to gain territory.

I dont agree with that either. Why should someone be limited like that? What if he really wanted to play. This reactive way of bringing in updates to "fix" the game is just to satisfy the whiners. Which is stupid.

Same from me, I don't think limitations and taking out options is the best way to do this.

Player joins, finds out he he has to wait several days before launching an attack, he closes the battledawn tab. It's really that simple.

Bad update is bad.

u guys forget that new players don't usually break out of protection. They stay in the protection for 100 ticks, which already way past the 36 no-attack ticks.

I believe that is the new players that join and then never come back, lol.
