Looks like hacking software of changing the value of the heat. Was the heat bar flashing slowly or rapidly?

Thanks for reporting mate, is this the only occasion you've encountered the bug? I've sent it on to the devs. :)

Coyote - Hacking applications (CheatEngine) do not work with SuperMechs or any other Tacticsoft game. Every value in our games are server based, meaning it's near impossible for them to be modified by the client. :)

Rapidly of course. He was already over heated :)
