Hello everybody.

I'm a new player, just learning the game. I haven't finished any game yet, but I'm currently playing 4. My best current ranking is 92, and I have only had a maximum of 1 crystal. At least I think I'm finally figuring out how to hold onto that one crystal...

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions on the best and quickest ways to figure out how this game works.

I keep seeing messages about checking out a player's accomplishments, but I can't figure out where to see accomplishments. Could someone tell me where to find that?

you find a players achievements by clicking on their colony and selecting profile.

The most effective way you can break the (quite huge :P) learning curve of BD is via the Adopt-A-Newb Centre. Volunteer veterans of the game sign up to become a mentor, a forum moderator than assigns newbies to the mentors! Your typical mentor will teach you survival skills, answer your questions, give you tips and maybe even help you find a safe alliance! You can find the AANC here.
