I am currently reforming an alliance. To do this, I am kicking everyone from the alliance, then leaving it myself. Then, I will create a new alliance with the same name, but different tag, as we are becoming a sub alliance. Currently there are allied squads positioned at my base. If I were to kick their owner out of my alliance, would these squads become hostile?

I've been wondering the same thing myself.

However, I suggest not doing this, it's going to be a waste of ticks and energy.

Better just to broadcast the fact that you are a sub, or better yet, make a suggestion for leaders to be able to change the alliance name.

Thank you for the advice, and I have just brought this issue up in the suggestions thread. Hopefully a name, or at least tag change option will be available in the near future.
