What is the best and fastest way to increase power level?

First let's start off with how power is calculated.

10 soldiers=1 power
25 workers=1 power
1 conquer=1 power
1 resource op=0.2 power for each member of the alliance

Therefore the fastest way to gain power would be to armor spam units but it is certainly not the best way. The best way to increase power would be by getting conquers and increasing your worker count. To increase your worker count hunt down wrecks and ops, wrecks in hopes they will contain workers and ops because you can raze them for not only workers but resources as well. Not to mention that as you increase your worker count to gain power you will also be increasing your income. Another fast way would be to go for conquers, each conquer will give you 1 power as well as increasing your worker income every 24 ticks.

u forgot 1 res OP = 0.2 power to each member

but to remember sometimes you have to lose some power to gain some power so dont be afraid to build your own ops in key places where conquers appear very often or theres some about to break out of protection, the key to being succesful is having a good network and being active

so do these same principles apply to how to increase score?

Since power does increase score yes it could be applied to increasing your score. Probably the fastest way to increase score would be to steal a relic (which will surely get you killed) but it will increase your score by 1k. The safer route to increase score that is a bit safer is to go after crystals that boost your score by 20 each crystal you own. It should also be noted that having crystals does make you a target for larger alliances though.
