hi, im a newbie,,,, how do you trade? coz i need some metal and i have a lot of oil, and i dont know how to trade them

There is no way to trade to other players at the moment unless you purchase tokens.
As to converting your metal to oil, you need to build the CONVERTERS. They are one of the structures. Once those are built go to the management screen in the colony tab. There is a resource converter there.
