Curious if anyone actually has used these yet.

Why the change? Do I read it properly that all they do now is give a resource boost over the set time instead of giving resources.

No. You can but tokens now instead of making set donations. The thing you are talking about give a boost of resources to everyone when a set amount of tokens are bought.

I can't be sure about this as i am just a player but since i don't support i believe i can answer your question from our perspective. The old way of supporting was to much and it took all skill out of the game. With the resource bonus you could just pay a few dollars and instantly be 50 times better then the best non paying BD player out there. This system made a lot of players quit because the game was overrun by people who were owning mainly because they supported the game. With the new system even though it still gives the support a significant advantage, it is based on the world wide income and not a set amount. In short it means that even if you support you know need a relitive amount of skill to use the tokens to your advantage and win with skill and not money.

And it also gives us more of a chance

Hope this helps

To add to this, Admin the cost for supporting is WAY TO HIGH. Just my opinion though

Not really, there is little need for the big packages anymore. The way I read as most of them have a duration is that donation options gave you a resource boost, otherwise why would there be a duration beside them?

Another point to add: The rewards are smaller, but they cost less.

So, you can donate for 1 light metal but you'll get a small amount - but with one 30 Euro Donation, you can get 30 of the "Light metals" - a larger amount.

The idea is to allow you more freedom over when and how much of the packages you purchase, but still enabling you to get a bulk bonus (By buying the bigger packages)

Thanks,
St.Even

You know what would be just perfect?

If the boost would come in tokens, then we could save up and have 1 good age...
