I see people with crystals.. What is the purpose of them? If I get one, am i safe?

They increase your income of resources, and increase your score by a small amount.
You will probably be targeted if you have a crystal and aren't that strong.

You get a crystal when you reach 20 power.

Crystals give 0.2 metal/oil to the entire alliance, so in a full alliance each crystal produces 4.8 metal/oil.
