A binding suggestion in-game that will allow access to other features.
One of them would be selling useless weapons. Wait, won't the items in item boxes sell more than the actual cost? Well here is how the binding system counters this.

1)Whatever you buy from the shop is not bound to you.
-This includes anything loot you get from the campaign.

2)Whatever you use will be bound to you immediately.
-Anything you get from item boxes are bound to you by default.

3)It takes credits(varies upon the type of equipment and rareness) * level to unlock anything. So if something is level 20, it will cost X credits to unbind it.

I'll prob. edit this if there is a good suggestion that fits with this.

This sounds like good idea to me :) Not sure if it may confuse the game a little too much. I do very much like the idea of possibly re-opening a shop again on SM though :)

First of all, you add an option in your poll titled "Potato......", partially damaging what could be a very good and useful poll. Of course I clicked the potato option.

Secondly, I am against binding system. I don't understand what is the deal with selling items, I fuse them all into my equipment, I rarely look at whatever the shop have to offer (maybe for cheap stuff, like armor plating), I buy my stuff from item boxes and it works like magic (never bought any torso or leg part).
It's unnecessary complication (slight complication, but still a complication, someone have to code this for example).

Oh... Potato means i don't care, or I am confused.
Also binding system allows people from high levels to sell some of their items to buy lower level to play at lower levels. Also, fusing items is useless once your after the 5th or 6th level. It takes thousands of points to level anything after the first couple of levels. Also, people might want to sell their stuff to buy other stuff faster, but they can't do that. But if they did without the binding system, people would sell things in item boxes for insane prices.
