Well my BD mates , i need some serious help from you all.

Yesterday morning , i broke my laptop. I took it to Dell Service centre & they have sent it to New Delhi to see if anything can be done & told me it will approx cost me around $300 , considering that my laptop original cost was $1000 it was ok.

Now problem is im on my holidays & had decided to play some good serious rounds but now that seems difficult to me . I have another PC at home but my younger bro is busy with it. And its near to impossible to play on internet Cafes or on my mother or father;s laptop since they both are busy with their work on it all day long.


Well thinking of how i can play BD , i just got an idea , just wanted to know if this is possible.

My idea is to buy a new LED , not very big just small 32 inch sony maybe , then a mobile that supports OTG ( on the go ) . Then i connect my mobile to the LED by HDMI cable . Then i buy a mouse & keyboard & via OTG i connect it to my mobile.
Then run BD on mobile which i would see on the led screen.
But the functioning of the mouse & keyboard is really very neccessary.

So can my idea work out? If so , then plz guide me with it.

if you're gonna buy mobile phones and LED screens you might aswell just buy a really cheap notebook.

Im as it is gonna buy a new mobile since i think its time to change my old Sony.
If i buy notebook then after a few months when my holidays are over it will be a waste but if i buy a led i can use it even after that.
LED will cost me around $550 & mobile around $250 & a notebook around $300 .
notebook will became a waste after my holidays are over so i dont think its a good idea.

btw i saw a video on youtube where a guy attaches his andriod device to his led then he attaches his ps3 controller to the mobile & then playing GTA Vice city .
so i guess a similar can be done here too?
I think i'll soon buy a PS3 too .

You can, in fact, use a mouse & keyboard with an Android Phone. There's methods both by USB hub and with specialised keyboards - I have a friend who used to mess around with that a lot.

Puffin is a terrific mobile flash browser.


But it may be easier (and possibly cheaper) to simply buy a Chromebook. Chromebooks should be able to run BD perfectly well, considering Google Chrome has Flash built right in. They have a keyboard, a touchpad (plus you can of course add a mouse) and you can get them for about 200$. Cheaper then buying a new mobile and allows you to get an LED that doesn't support On The Go (assuming that is some form of new technology, you can get terrific PC screens for much cheaper prices).

I'll have to look into On The Go, but you should be able to use an existing mouse & keyboard with your android device using only a special hub. I'll get you some more information on this after contacting my friend.

the problem with chromebook and notebooks is that once my holidays are over and my laptop is back the chromebook will became a waste for me but i can still use mobile and the led even after that . so even if its a bit costly I'll prefer to buy that.

You have used terrific word twice in your post , but i didnt get that you are saying it in positive or negative way.

I saw many videos youtube and i think we need a wifi for it.

So now you will buy ps3 too?
