i have not seen much activity in this part of the forum from the admins so i'll tell u how to change ingame name, you send the world admin a pm with filling out this aplication

2 reason why to change:
3 e-mail your colony is registered on:

example

1 ruler name wanted: muncher
2 colony name wanted: cake
3 reason why to change: i misstaped my name and want to correct it
4 e-mail your colony is registered on: [email protected]

Is there a limit to the amount of times you can change your name? And does there have to be a valid reason or can you just change it for fun?

i don't think there is a official limit. But i would try to keep it at a minimum

and you can change because u just want another =P

how is it abused?

Some players request a name change up to maybe 5 times or even more a round. Simply wanting a new name every once in a while. Pick one, and stick with it.

Granted, some players used different colony names to dodge/or be off radar from several people so they don't get into unnecessary stuff in the beginning, but there are just some people who will keep requesting name change when the current is fine as is (so it's the players fault for being indecisive).

Also these clutter the admins mailbox which gets filled up rather quickly.
