I find it ridiculous that you guys just turn it off mid era. I understand there is a problem. But the entire era is now messed up. Those who got points before you turned it off benefit. Those who fight after you turned it off do not get points. How is this fair? Please consider carefully the impact of your actions before just doing stuff like this. It was the same when it was first introduced i.e. you guys just introduced it mid era?!

If you introduce changes to this scoring system you have to commit to an entire era of running it like that. Just starting it somewhere in the middle or turning it off whenever you find a problem with it creates more problems than just running with it as is and is not fair to all players. Implement the fix in the following era, DON'T JUST RUIN THE EXISTING ERA!

Sorry, we can't wait till an era has finished. Updates are always "global" and applies to all servers. With 13 servers, you can imagine that there are always some in middle / end of an era. It was no easy decision for us and we considered the pros and cons. The cons of the battlescore predominated.

I hear you, Ilona but any good developer should be able to facilitate this. I'm really trying hard to find a reason to keep playing my current era but things like this make it hard to remain interested in BD.

We do sincerely apoligize Dragoa. We do not make these decisions lightheartedly, knowing that players such as yourself are affected. If not for the greater potential for damage to players, we would never had removed it.

Seth, I appreciate your comments. I suggest you guys talk to whoever your development team is about only implementing changes and keeping them as that for the entire era, bugs included (fix next era). This would be more fair to all players. I understand the complexities involved, but it should not be impossible to implement.

I completely understand mate. I will see what I can do, but some changes, because they have to be made in a global fashion to keep everything running seamlessly, inevitably end up taking place in the middle of one era or another, if not several at the same time. I personally try to shy away from massive changes for that reason. When that is not possible, I believe that we should give ample warning that the change is going to take place. I dont always get my way though

Once again, I apologize for the all of it. The bugs, and generally putting the update out there before it was ready. We do our best to learn from our mistakes, but obviously still make them. We are after all, human.
