I finally got through the movie Knowing, and I thought to myself, if I knew that were were in our final days. What would be my game plan. I'm not talking the world is ending in 3 hours. I mean the world is ending in 1 week. Would you spend it with your family? Would you spend it alone? Would you join looters? Would you seek religious council.


Please post what you would do. I'm looking for thought out, serious responses. Not 1 line sarcasm such as,"I would get really high and drunk."



Personally I think I would like to spend the last days of my life in meditation,

and reflecting on my life. Thinking of the happy, the sad, and pondering the

meaning of my existence. I don't think I'd want to spend all that time with

my family. Save maybe the last day.



As usual I'd just end up comforting them and neglecting myself. I think I'd

like to find a Buddhist temple. It seems like a quiet, serene place for

reflection, cosmic guidance, and If its remote enough I won't have to worry

about looters.



I personally am not religious. I'd use it as more of a method of bringing

myself to terms with not just my impending death, but the impending death

of all I know, understand, and love.

i don't really know but in all likelyhood i would either be alone beating myself up over wasting my life or in my basement with no way of knowing when it is so it won't see it coming or both

i would want to fight someone to the death.

im serious. rules are mercy killing and ensuring a quick death when defeat is obvious.

should be interesting... extremely painful, but the endorphines and the adrenaline would mean i would never feel so alive.

either that or trying to cross off as many "things to do" on my list.

flying a plane would be cool, no instructions, no need to land

but those are all ways to go out, unsure what to do the days before, maybe things to do before i die would be fun to complete.

i would probly play bd, not even joining, with all people offline i could rock and i'm a addict..

and time with my gf and family. finaly record some of my songs, will have to do that

probly fight some one to, didn't think of it before ducky said it, but probly would

fight to the death is the only way to go. no guns.

i want to dress up as a spartan and rock out in a gladiator ring... RAWR!!!

You guys have seriously low standards for your last day on earth. I recall mentioning no sarcastic answers. Your not going to log onto BD on your last day on earth. Fighting to the death probably won't happen. Coming up with a Bucket List wasnt bad though.

I'd go to a Cowboy's game, go streaking across the field, tackle Tony Romo, laugh, get tackled by the security people, bust out of prison, join the mob, leave the mob, get chased by the mob....and I think I'd be dead then.

you underestimate me.

imagine fighting to the death, you have a knife wound to your gut, you know you are going to die but the endophines and adrenaline mean you feel nothing but life. it would be an awesome way to go out.
and so you swing your pipe upwards at their head and the fight goes on.

what would you rather? flying? and by flying i mean falling and by falling i mean parachuting without a parachute.

either way, i would rather kill myself in a spectacular fashion rather then get killed by the end of the earth.

everyone has a bucket list some things are just a tad too rude.

I would sit on my front porch with a bottle of Jack, a pack of cigarettes, and my shotgun.
