The game client will be updated this weekend.

The update will be as follows:

  • 1. "Invite a friend" function which will allow you to send email to all of your friends. There will be a new button which will open an email message with your referral link in it.

  • 2. Voting will give slightly less tokens. This is due to large scale abuse and imbalances of this feature.

  • 3. New "Daily Bonus Boost" feature, where players will be able to click on the new "Your Daily Gift" button and get a small bonus daily just for playing!

  • 4. Ability to 'hide' missions on a world you join.

  • 5. Battle Scoring System Update!:
    New battle scoring system based on battles results.
    Scoring formula as suggested.
    How it working:
    IN ADDITION to the current formula which takes power, workers, conquers, ops, relics and crystals.
    It will also add the amount of score you gain from battles.
    If you battle many battles along the round, then you should accumulate a nice score.
    The way the battle score works is: battle score = number of workers killed in opposing army divided between the players who made the kill in accordance with their ratio of army sizes.
    Example: if you killed in battle 30 tanks, and both you and your ally sent equal forces in a 2v1 battle.
    Then each of you should get 45 points
    30X3 = 90 / 2
    If the power rating of one size on average based on the amount of units each player sent is more than double the other side.
    Then the disproportionally stronger side will get 0 points.
    While the very weak side will get double score for each kill he managed to make.
    Example: DO NOT ATTACK players who have less than half your power.
    This is to prevent bullying new players for score and kills.

  • 6. UFOs will be flying pumpkins until after Halloween!

  • 7. If you purchase a 1000 token (or higher) boost, you will get a 200 bonus (blue) token booster! This is a new feature, so we will be working to make it more dynamic in the future, but for now, any boost of 1000 or more red tokens will include 200 bonus tokens. Just to be clear, if you purchase 3000 supporter tokens, you will still get 200 bonus tokens (same as a 1000 token purchase).

Some of these updates have already been applied as of posting this announcment. All others will follow throughout the weekend, and be finished no later than Sunday. Any change in this plan will be noted by amending this post.

I like most of the new updates. However, I believe that lowering the amount of tokens received per vote is a bad idea. It isn't fair to players who don't boost reds. It will cause even more of a gap between the powerful red boosting players and the average players like me. It won't really be as fun.

Are nukes counted in the score increases?
Eg: nuke strikes target, killing its 10%. Do you get the score from the units it kills?

and in regards to 3, is that similar to the toolbar one? (same principle, just in-game?)

This is exactly why #3 is on there. We thought it appropriate to balance out what we had to take away in tokens. Resources are not as easy to abuse as tokens are in that respect.

Yer so excluding my alliance, there's only 5 people I could kill on my world who doesn't have lower than half my power? explain to me how that is fair, I don't have the chance to score up, since there's so few players for me to actually score up from? o.O
