What exactly does this mean? Do I have a 30% chance of a mythical not appearing in my inventory? 30% chance that I get a mythical that I don't already have?

I can understand your confusion.

"30% not in inventory" means thats there's a 30% chance that the mythical card you overturn will be a mythical item that is guaranteed not in your inventory.

So basically you have a 30% chance of receiving something you don't have

*extra chance

70% of the time it will pick ANY item from all the mythicals in the game.

The other 30% it will ONLY pick between the items you do not own.

It's a nice bonus

Then you get no extra bonus because there isn't a need for one.

It will be much harder to get new released items. That's why you may get duplicates in your boxes.
