I just wanted to know if what would happen if I sent an attack that would definitly conquer the player but the player sent an attack that would definitIly conquer me and they both had the same eta.

If you have more troops or better ratio and you're unconquered you will conquer the player you're attacking if he is not conquered of course and vice versa. If you'd like someone to help you play and understand the game more you can fill an application in the AANC thread, it will help you pass the learning curve more easily.

Which means if my attack doesn't go through any defense, but his attack took 2 rounds to finish, which means my attack "won" and I conquered him. In case both attacks have the same amount of round, it will be a battle of luck

Unless it is coded different for this scenario. I know when you attack someone and also attack their conquers to land same tick if your attack on him is 2 rounds and the attack on his conquers is one round you will not conquer them since they were still conquered.

I would say I am right since my theory is based on other things that occur in the game.
