I went to the movies last night and finally saw GI Joe. I've seen a lot of crap movies before. This is definitely the WORST action movie Ive ever seen that I actually paid for. (I didn't pay to see Alien Vs Predator Requiem. That was on HBO.


*Spoilers* (Doesn't really matter. If your smart you won't watch it even when It comes on cable for free.)


Typical GI Joe style the plot is so dumb a nine year old would call bull***t.
Its the romantic scenes involving the baroness and Duke are the definition of cliche. The accelerator suits were a total ripoff of Iron Man. I actually think they just cut the scene in Iron man where the leg latches on, re-textured, and re-colored it.

Scarlett the genius who graduated college at 13, never actually takes her place as the smart one in the group, instead simply taking the role of the love interest for ripcord. In the beginning seen ripcord says she likes him and he likes her. She of course replies that liking someone is an emotion and science cant prove emotions exist so as far as she is concerned they don't.
This goes back to the whole, a nine year old could figure this crap out. I guess while she was in college at 13 she missed biology and skipped sexual educations class.

Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow, not gonna go there.

Baroness instead of the hot leather bound villain we've grown to love, shes dukes wife whose under the control of nanobots....yeah.


GI Joe 3/10. That score because in one seen Ripcord says,"Busta a cap?"

Gave me a tickle so there's my opinion. Anyone else liked it better? Worse?

Any movie with the action figures made in advance, isn't worth watching to my opinion.

Grunnion how could you not understand the plot. A ten year old could come up with it.

That movie only has appeal to children, and idiot consumers who are distracted from the rip offs, cliches, and bad casting by the shiny colors of special effects.


I bet you enjoy Uwe Boll movies as well.

They made a freaking space battle underwater !
