I NEVER GOT BANNED IN BATTLE DAWN BUT THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT CAN GET U BANNED.SO INSTEAD OF FUN IT IS BORING.SUPER MECHS IS A GOOD GAME BUT IN CASE OF BANNING A PLAYER IT IS WORST.THEY JUST BAN A PLAYER WITHOUT ISSUING ANY WARING JUST THEY SAY YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FOR A PERIOD OF TIME FROM GLOBAL CHAT SO I WANT TO SAY THAT THERE MUST BE A WARING ISSUED TO PLAYER BEFORE BANNING HIM FROM CHAT.THEY BANNED ME 2 TIMES WITHOUT ANY WARING AND NOW I CANT LOG IN MY ACCOUNT THIS IS SO RUDE.

you'll only be banned if you break the rules by placing two colonies or something. its not that hard. you dont just get banned left and right (unless you're jesse)

Super Mechs bans are automatic on detection of the use of a cheating program, in this case they expire usually on first offense.

Alternatively you can be banned just from chatting, this is also automatic and done by the server if too many players block you and you also hit certain flags. Usually this happens if you message/spam a lot of players who dont want to talk, spam the chat, insult players or the likes.
