Green or getting green is the in-trend. Green technology, green building and greening the earth is getting common. The conecpt of 3R - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is getting popular. What's the green concept you have in mind that you can share with us?
Let's hear it out. Hopefully, this could help promote a greener mother nature for our next generations.

I don't wash my clothes, I don't take a bath, and I wash my dishes with plain water. I don't pour chemical wastes to the sea by doing so...

I think power generation is the biggest issue. We should invest more in research for cleaner energy sources. Given a cleaner source of energy, even if it means spending more for it, unless we are ready to do that, we will not make anything green.

not really, factories, mines, lumber mills, hunting and most of all, trafic jams. They are the main reasons.
trafic jams is not an easy-to-solve problem, unless u widen the road which needs lots of money to compensate for the houses (or part of the houses) that have to be demolished during the widening.
telling ppl to use less polluting fuels won't help... ppl have been using the 92 fuels (or 90) for ages and telling them to change won't be an easy job.

Traffic jams dont matter. Its the fuel exhaust that is bad. We could move to other sources of energy. But think about Thermal power stations, even the mining stations need power, nuclear power stations etc

First of all the power generation issue needs to be dealt with.
Hot countries: Build massive solar panel fields.
Cold countries: Build wind turbines.
Coastal countries: Build off shore tidal turbines.
I would say Scotland is a good example of a Country with these goals in mind. By 2020 they aim to have 100% of their electricity needs produced by renewables. Obviously ambitious, but going down the right road.
Polution from cars is a big problem too obviously, but I do believe we are heading in the right direction with that already. Not necessarily with the new electric cars that are coming out these days. But there is enough drive and funding for the researchers to eventually come up with a viable solution eventually.
There are tonnes of other things we do that essentially may be speeding up the clock on our planet. But maybe by the time things get so bad that we have to move planets, we could be able to do that. Who knows.

not really, trafic jam means lots of vehicles with running engine stuck together, which make the fuel loss uselessly. wikipedia wrote: Wasted fuel increasing air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions owing to increased idling, acceleration and braking.
Wear and tear on vehicles as a result of idling in traffic and frequent acceleration and braking, leading to more frequent repairs and replacements. and even wind turbine and water dams are polluting, not the air though. Wind turbines cause lots of noise and can cut off bird's migration path. Dams change the flow of river, making the lower part with less water, and sometimes they open the gate for the water to flow out, making the water rise unexpectedly, which will eventually have negative effects to the environment.

There is always going to be something that is bad, but we gotta go for something if we aim to cut down pollution. Quote: I would say Scotland is a good example of a Country with these goals in mind. But the only problem to that is, in a hugely populated country like India or China, alternative sources of power just wont cover the needs. But that said, yes we gotta put more into research into those areas if we aim to be self sufficient using non polluting methods.

from wat I can see... nuclear power is the only solution. Power generated from dams and wind turbines is not enough. And we don't have much space for the solar panels field either.
