In a not-so-far future, 2014.
July 14, 2014.
(Starlight Date 14||14||14||14)
(Source: www.zooboing.com )It was a normal day at Zhistyu, a city in the planet called Turvok, 123,000 LY away from a far-away place: the place that was said to be the ancestor of their race, called Earth. Like all other planets though, it was nothing short of a usual business day -- the usual business transactions. Just near its neighbors, the planets of Yuzo, Yquazar, and Juquo have been busy -- it was one of those years where technology was at its peak. New discoveries were abounding: it was merely the time when Warp Drive was closing its conquest in the area, now to be ruled by a new experimental technology called Quadro-Plasmic Thrusters, which was said to exceed 9.99 Warp in the normal Earth scale. It was in those times when space in the Delta Quadrant was as peaceful as it should free...
But all of that changed. That day, a massive timeslip past one of its moons. A timeslip, everyone thought at the time, was impossible. They all knew very well of Yquazar's attempts for a Warp 10 Time Travel. And yet they knew it was impossible.
Or so it seems...
Start as a citizen of Turvok, as a Hybrid Human, and discover the secrets of the Timeslip, and discover the shocking truths and inevitable future of Tyu Sector 300 years into the future -- a future where the Borg would rise up from its fences. Gain new technology. Gain new intel. Gain the trust of your powerful allies: Yuzo, Yquazar, and Juquo. Fight and defend the dear planet before Turvok itself would be caught, lost in the time-space continuum and lost forever.
Format:
[
Ship]
Unlike in Galactic Insignia, ships are quite restrictive in these parts, considering that the year is in 2014. It was a time where no Quantum Slipstream could exist, and, despite the advance technology of the Tyu Sector (your sector), it will surely take you as long as 70 years just to get to the Beta Quadrant. Warp Drive will be limited to that of 4.0 - 8.0 (this is based on Startrek Speed). Even weaponry will be limited to that of explosives, plasma weapons, projectiles, and concussives. Unsure or not of what to put here, please use the necessary stat format:
Code:
[color=#FF4000][Ship][/color]
[i]Name of Ship[/i]:
[i]Ship Type:[/i]: <please refer to Ship Types>
[i]Ship Captain:[/i]
[i]# of Crew:[/i]
[i]Attack:[/i]
[i]Defense:[/i]
[i]Shield:[/i]
[i]Hull:[/i]
[i]Cargo:[/i]
(Stats must equal 20 total -- excluding bonuses of course)
(Cargo WILL include people count. As a hint 1 Cargo = 25 people + 2 tons of resources INCLUDING fuel.)
[
Ship Types]
Civllian(Bonus Stats: Attack (Start Limit to 3); Cargo +3; Resource -6 T)
Civilian-types focus less on attack and more on cargo. One of the advantages of Civilian ships are they MUST be protected by any kind of military ship: even enemy humanoid ships! However, you cannot be protected from robotic races -- that is if such a thing exist. You cannot pass through enemy territory, however, and there's more chances of you to be potentially raided by pirates.
Military(Bonus Stats: Cargo (Start Limit to 3); Attack +2; Defense +1)
Military-types focus less on cargo and more of the crucial stats of attack and defense. While one disadvantage of Military ship is required protection of Cilivilian ships, you DO benefit from the surplus in your pay from missions. Most often though, you can be limited from the areas you can pass through.
Explorer(Bonus Stats: Hull (Start Limit to 3); Warp +4)
Explorer-types focus more on warp technology than on hull technology. Often, explorer types are most often neglected by enemy ships (except fanatic ones) and pirate ships, and explorer ships can travel almost anywhere. However, you have less support from the government.
Merchant(Bonus Stats: Attack & Defense (Start Limit - 3 and 4 // 4 and 3); Cargo +4; Ppl Capacity -100 ppl.)
Merchant-types are more of businessmen in the busy world of Tyu Sector, being able to freely go from neighbouring countries without any kind of limit. There is, however, chances of attacks from Pirates.
Rogue / StarshipThese two types are quite similar in that they do not have any bonus of any kind, but are vastly different in terms of advantages. Rogue ships have more advantages over areas where pirates gather, even to the point of being able to barter with them, while Starships have quite a lot support from the government.
