You are in control and responsible for your own colony. Your workers would not enjoy it if you were able to have a civil war at will and attack yourself.

You should be attacking other players and their outposts.
You can ask other players to launch nukes/dragons at you, usually done so agents can be killed off of your colony. But remember you will lose 10% of your workers as well as 10% of any units on the colony.

You can launch a nuke at an op with 24t delay, then take over that OP, then relocate onto it
