Perks are visuals only, they add no advantage to the player. The weight limit is fine the way it is. High ranked players will abuse it much harder than you anyway.

It would however, be healthy to Tactisoft's wallet, let's say it added 10 KGs and costs 1000 tokens. Every competitive player would buy 3 of these.

But would it be healthy for the game? Giving pay to win players more advantages?

I think an expensive perk that adds a small weight advantage would be funny to add lol but it makes the competitive scene harder than what it already is, and more expensive, so let's not do that.

NO NO NO AND NO LOWERING THE WEIGHT.
THe point of the weight is to make you think on how to "balance" your mech. if it was people would have two super nova mark 2s and 4 needle blasters with heat and bullet modules. Do you see why it would not work?
