7 mil.~~ reported, i would think roughly 10-11 mil is more likely knowing the chinese government and statistics.

if you read through that link, youll note that forced abortions do happen even though its supposedly agaisnt chinese law.
its generally only forced on those who cant afford to pay the fine.
my relatives in china can wave the fine to the side however, especially in rural areas, many people cant afford to pay the fine.

that article ends with saying a thorough education systen would acheive results, please see india. people use the condoms handed out for free to hold and store water.

so... is the cure better then the disease in this case? keeping the population under check allowed china to distribute food better, help keep up education levels and reduced the strain on water that china already has.

What balance do you talk about? Unspecialized stemcells are indeed life. They are working at becoming something fantastic.
You are right, that teenage girl could become the first woman president. For that reason, you shouldn't force her to stop her education. I agree. However, I fail to see the connection. Except, perhaps, that neither abortion nor forcing a person to abandon their education should be done.

Being ridiculed in school, personally, is far better than being depressed and killing oneself.
Why does the pregnancy have to occur the same time as school? Take a break for a year or so, then go back. Public schools can't not accept a student.
And how dare you to say the system can't hold a child? You'd rather stop life then give the child an opportunity? That is what the system was designed to do. The government can always adapt to spacing. Eminent domain.
And how do you know for certain that unspecialized cells aren't life? Who are you to say that life doesn't begin at conception.
