How exactly did I buy my way there?

Zal sent a mass saying that he was letting me conquer him for 500,000 tokens, which was supposed to be a joke, but apparently some members actually believed I'm some kind of multimillionaire and offered me crystals in exchange for tokens, and I had to explain to each of them that it was a joke.

It would seem that somebody told this to you, and you've fallen right for it too?

If I had 500,000 tokens to spare, I think I'd always be rank 1, and by a very long shot - Vicious and I fought hard over our little competition over rank 1, which is exactly what I wanted. When our relics got spammed, I could easily have taken one of Vicious' relics and secured myself the rank 1 by a long shot, but I didn't and we had a little contest.

Long story short, I deliberately made Vicious' and my scores very close, so that we could have some fun with an end of round fight over rank 1 - If I had wanted to 'buy' rank 1, then I'd have stolen Vicious' relic when the opportunity arose, and probably had about double the power I actually had, if I had donated as much as you guys seem to think I did.



The truth about my donation on Mars 2:
I donated quite a lot when I first set up on M2, intending just to mess around. Then I got invited to Meow, and shortly after, I was conquered, and lost my entire army. I then rebuilt my army (without donating) and continued the round from there - the only things I donated for after that point, was emergency ioning and population (I had a large army but 0 conquers, since I prefer to leave conquers to players who need them more)

yeah that makes sense ... you power went up like 150 within the lasy dying days fo the round which does not make any sense especially since you had 0 conquers

mate i talked to alot of meow members and alot said they were upset with how you bought rank 1 but w/e

not guna get into this....

During the end of the round, Vicious and I both requested resources from the members, so Vicious told members to send their resources to whoever they thought deserved rank 1.

A large number of members sent me resources and a large number sent resources to Vicious

If you watched Vicious powerscore too, you'd have noticed that his power rose as fast as mine

My power before the rank 1 race - 1 gold star (Increased by about 50)
Vicious' power before the rank 1 race - 3 white stripes with a star (Increased by about 50)

The truth is, Vicious and I both had roughly the same power increase at the end of the round from rushing units, and we were both funded by the other Meow members.

The Meow members who oh-so-reliably 'informed' you that I was buying my way to the top are probably the same idiots who thought I was offering hundreds of thousands of tokens for crystals, as I mentioned earlier.

Luckily this is right before I lost 40 power to Morgan...
And I got over 100 crystals, even though it cost me 20 power.
I really wanted to get into the triple digits

Anyways, great round, especially for my first, except for our massive backstab xD

Lol that was a fun round.. thought i was only joining to be conquered which i was till tick 1500 or something but before i knew it, i was in BARK which seemed to of been the only alliance that died up our way to Meow
but getting into GENE near the end was a unexpected bonus i guess.
