Hey I'm interested in creating a sig. Haven't decided on anything yet but was hoping to get some tips. I want to try to create my own before requesting a sig
Can someone give me details of the size limitations, tips etc so I can try and create my own sig? Thanks

Sigs can't be more than 150 pickles in height, dunno about width, I think the limit is pretty big, so you don't have to worry about that. I haven't made a sig before, but I'd use GIMP. It's a pretty good picture editor, I don't know the link off the top of my head. But yeah, spiffy program, check it out on Google. Not Bing. Meh on Yahoo, really not a fan of Ask.

And yes, pickles.

Maximum sig size is 500px by 150px. I haven't really used GIMP, as I use PS, but I hear it's pretty good (it's free ). Try keeping the sig simple if you've just started... if you try making it complicated it might get messy.

I'll take all that into account when making my sig
I'll probably use GIMP since it's free, I've heard of it being quite easy to use as well.

My advice is to experiment with ALL DE BUTTONZ.
After that, follow tutorials on good signatures.
Then you'll start to understand what combinations of effects/brushes etc. look good.
Then when you make sigs, experiment some more.

Hmm, I'll look at some examples. I was just gona make it out of the blue, but I think it'd be better if I experiment before finishing my "final" product
