If you can get it down quick enough, sure.

However if you're afraid of stacked spies and worried about getting SP down quickly enough, it's much better to nuke the op to clear all the spies on it.

Only if you are faster than your enemy (which usually isn't the case).

So there's quite a few scenarios that can occur here:
1. The enemy see's you coming and decides to defend and lock down a end of the tick before you land (usually done within the last minute of the tick ending when you are 1 ETA). If this is the case, your spy won't do you any good as you can't stop them from locking their own OP down prior to you landing (but do note, they can only lock it if they have 24 ticks control. Another side note though, if their ally has a spy on it, they can lock it as long as they had enough control ticks and the OP wasn't at 1 control tick).

2. Your enemy decides they want to attempt to hit your army with a spy attack against your army. They can do this at any time with their spy as there is no control tick limit. If they are smart, they'll hit you upon landing to try to ensure you don't put SP on before they can set off the spy.

3. Same scenario as 2 except they had a long term spy on the OP (let's say over 1000 infiltration and then you land and take OP). The OP exchange would take the infiltration down to 500, but I doubt you'd place 500 SP on the OP. The enemy may be confident enough to wait until they are attacking and wait until end of tick to try hitting you with a spy and use minimum units to kill your entire army.

4. They have multiple spies planted on that OP and even if they don't have a lot of infiltration (let's say 20 each after being halved from you taking OP) and 6 of them planted a spy there. Here, they'll be able to take out up to 120 SP.


Overall, you should always be cautious of OPs you're not sure of. If it's an Old OP (your's or not) you should avoid going there when the stakes are high. Always remember if they nuke an OP as it becomes a clean slate and you can simply put enough SP to cover your bases (50 SP will be able to cover you for quite a while after a nuke)

but if i capture op and immediately take off from it,would spy attack work on my troops ?

Units can be damaged the tick they land, but cannot be locked.

Yes, even if you moved off immediately from the OP, if they chose to do a dmg spy attack, it would hit you. Until you're units are off the OP by 1 tick, they are susceptible to dmg.

so if i have an agent on an ally col and someone is attacking him,to take his cristal for instance,can i poison his troops ?

uh... yes. Now doing so would be a betrayal, but yes, you could do that to your own ally. And as a heads up, if he happens to have SP, he will see that YOU were the one attempting to spy attack him.

If in not wrong we can see number of SP ticks on our ally colony ?

when he said ally, i assumed he meant ally, not his own team member.
