I'm gonna have a go at my own role play story. Sorry if it's too long
!
Basically, you come from the small, peaceful village of Borlock in the year 904. One day, a strange artifact is dug up. When investigated, the artifact appeared to be constantly moving slightly and growing very slowly. More and more of these strange artifacts are found, and after 1 year, hundreds have been found in the area underneath Borlock. Then, after 3 months, the first artifact dug up was ripped open from the inside, and out crawled a bloodthirsty demon, with teeth as yellow as can be, and claws as sharp as knives. It slashed the investigators who stared at it in awe, and escaped to the countryside near Borlock. Then, 1 by 1, the artifacts all gave birth to demons. Overall, on their escape journey, the demons killed 600 innocent civilians. The demons have been sighted 2 hours away from the village. Borlock needs soldiers, and are accepting anyone!
The Enemies:
Imps: Small versions of the demons which are summoned by the demons. However, because of their small size, they are easy to kill and have short claws. A scratch from one of these will not kill you, but it will sting badly from the uncleaned claws.
Demons: Humanoid, man sized beasts from the pits of hell themselves, these beasts are vicious, bloodthirsty and they love a good fight. Their skin is thick, so 1 weapon wound will not likely kill them, but 2 will. They fight to the end, and often win their battles! Their scratches are deadly, and depending on the area, their scratches can be fatal.
