Hi All, What governs the number of ticks it takes to travel.
I ask because I have noticed several times XI units coming out of gates which seems to travel greater distances to targets in shorter tick times than my own units.
Now I have just seen it happen with some of my own units. An out post is being attacked, the attacking squad comes from an outpost next to it, time = 3 ticks. I have gated some troops to a gate approx 2.5 times the distance from the outpost and sent them on their way. ETA 2 ticks?
It doesn't make sense, even the chasis type is identical between my units and the attacker.

because minimum attack time is 3 ticks but minimum move time is 2 and unit types dont affect travel speed
