I know that there are suggestion rules for things like custom servers, and new units...... but WHY do they apply to this forum as well?

In the 'read first' topic, it clearly says that there will be tonnes of new unit configurations, so why not have other new units? and if there are going to be things like platforms and docks, why not other new OPs to suggest as well?

So many people are viewing this as the same BD... but its not... its BD2 suggestions, and as such, there needs to be different rules for this sub-form of suggestions. Some of the rules, such as no new units, no new ops, etc etc, need to be removed... this is supposed be a NEW battledawn, which requires NEW features to be implemented, including OPs and troops.

heck... I'd even add a Poll to the topic to make sure i'm not the only one feeling this way:D , but i cant seem to make a poll :/

Yes I know what you are talking about. I've read suggestions meant for BD within BD2 forum and vise versa.

I think the confusion might be that some people think the new client is BD2 when it's actually BD1.2 lol. (well now with all the updates it's 1.37548374)

The Suggestion Rules apply to both Suggetions and BD2 Ideas. It is still Battle Dawn, just a new one, thus, the same suggesting rules should apply here.

I'm sorry but I must move this topic to the Veteran Questions since this is a question.

Well, the thing with the rules, is that BD2 IS new... and if its going to be new, there needs to be new ops, and new troops... its not even on a planet any more... so there will be new everything XD.
If its just a space-themed BD, with no change but the graphics and titles, then it isn't BD2, just a new server theme.
But some of the rules that dont allow us to discuss troop structure, and some of the 'core' parts of current BD, should really be discussed for BD2. If we cant suggest new stuff, then we must suggest upgrades. And we cannot suggest upgrades if we cant play the game to test out what is already there!
