Hey im a new player and i was wondering according to the ballista description its designed to pierce enemy mounts but it can also take down both infantry and heavy units with ease.
So does that mean that the ballista is just as good as the catapult and trebuchet or is it still only effective against cavalry.

the description like to exhagerate some times =P
the Ballista do 100% damage to cav, 50% damage to heavy and 25% damage to inf

so i would advice you to still make the catapult and trebuchet ;)

Ok thanks for the answer. IMO it should be changed. Its really confusing to new players.
